The process begins with rock solid HD camera work and high fidelity audio recording by a professional videographer. Roger’s ability to focus on the important details was honed by thirty years behind a microscope. That same precision pays big dividends behind the camera. Your shots will be stable, not shaky, in focus, expertly framed, with proper exposure and color.
A camera can only show what it’s pointed at. Your wedding day is a one time special event. There won’t be a director to shout “cut” and no opportunity to shoot the scene again if it’s missed. Working in the Cancer Lab, good judgement, and attention to detail, were essential, because a mistake could actually cost someone’s life. The ability to stay focused under pressure and do the job right has enormous value for a videographer just as it does in medicine.
Finally, your unique footage will be expertly crafted with genuine Avid editing software to produce a movie that you will enjoy watching, not something cheesy. Typically expect the main feature to be anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes in length, depending on the type of ceremony. True View can also produce a short “music video” highlight reel that you can post online.

Add a Photo Shoot!
While True View doesn’t try to take the place of a professional wedding photographer, should the need arise, you can add a simple photoshoot to your package. This will not be during the ceremony, since running the videocameras is pretty demanding work, plus monitoring all the audio our microphones are recording at the same time. However, one option is to grab HD Stills from the HD Video of the ceremony, and they can look very good, like the one above. Check out links in the sidebar for examples of True View still photography.
Before or after the ceremony, it’s no problem for Roger to pause the video recording to grab the Nikon digital slr camera to take some portraits. See the PHOTOGRAPHY section on the RATES AND SERVICES page for more information. In your Deluxe Wedding Package, the price of taking the photographs is already included since you have already paid for True View to be on location the full day. The only extra charge would be for image processing of the photos, as listed on the Rates page.
If you booked the budget package, as long as you don’t go over the three hour maximum for being on location, you only have to pay extra for the image processing. Extra time on location whether for photography or video recording would be according to our normal pricing structure on the Rates page of this site.
Ideally, you should have both a professional wedding photographer and a professional videographer, each doing their own distinct work. However, a lot of couples are struggling financially in the present economy so True View now offers limited photography services.
